Explore the beautiful qualities of cool ice midfire porcelain or Keane’s black smooth midfire clay through the creation of a botanical table centrepiece.

This wonderful workshop will run on Saturday 22nd and 29th of November from 11am - 4pm each day at Clayscape, Glenlyon, Victoria

The workshop will commence with the making of a damp box to enable you to safely store or transport your delicate forms if you wish to work on them throughout the week.

I will demonstrate how to construct a variety of botanical forms, how to create texture and individual qualities. You will learn how to compose and assemble your arrangements to create a stunning centre piece for your table.

Each arrangement will be fired to cone 6 and remain unglazed to emphasise the details of your forms and the drama of these very special clays.

I will individually guide you through the whole process facilitating the creation of exquisite and dramatic table settings for your Christmas table.

Morning tea and a sumptuous vegetarian lunch will be provided on each Saturday.
