While We Are Sleeping, 2019

We close our eyes to sleep turning off our consciousness, allowing our other world to take flight; a world based on our imagination, experience and fears. Inspired by Goya’s, The Sleep Of Reason Produces Monsters, this body of work explores these lenses that we look through to form a dialogue with the viewer drawing on symbolism from art history, our land both political and natural, against the innocence of childhood.
